Self-Source Path

Source Electronics and Battery

Obtain and inspect the physical control, sensing, power, safety, and battery hardware.

Self-source path

Use the released electronics BOM and regional requirements. Do not infer board or power components from architecture diagrams alone.

Electronics

Source and inspect:

  • Radxa CM5-based motion control board
  • Raspberry Pi 5, the only officially supported edge computer
  • power-distribution, protection, switching, and conversion hardware: TBC
  • wireless emergency stop and receiver
  • torso IMU
  • monocular camera
  • microphone array
  • speaker and associated electronics
  • storage, heatsinks, antennas, mounting hardware, and cables: TBC

Record each part number, revision, supplier, and serial number where present. Inspect PCBs, sockets, headers, connectors, latches, mounting holes, and supplied accessories without applying power.

Battery

The reference pack is a 13S4P, 46.8 V, 10.5 Ah lithium-ion battery with a maximum discharge current of 30 A.

The self-source builder is responsible for:

  • compatible pack sourcing
  • local shipping and certification requirements
  • approved charger selection: TBC
  • output connector and polarity: TBC
  • fuse, switching, distribution, and emergency-stop integration: TBC
  • damaged-pack handling and disposal requirements: TBC

Keep the battery disconnected and its output protected during mechanical assembly.

TBC: electronics and power release

Exact board SKUs, revisions, mounting hardware, public image downloads and checksums, charger, connector, polarity check, fusing, distribution, conversion, switching, and emergency-stop wiring are TBC.
