First-time setup is not full commissioning
The dashboard workflow now covers Motor ID assignment, read-only discovery, zeroing, and firmware activation. Each powered step remains blocked until its page-specific assembly, power, support, emergency-stop, release, and acceptance requirements pass.

Remaining Commissioning Work
Full commissioning still requires validated procedures for:
- support arrangement, lifting method, exclusion zone, and personnel roles
- approved battery, charger, connector, polarity, fuse, switching, distribution, and power-conversion configuration
- independent emergency-stop integration, functional test, shutdown behavior, and recovery
- public board-image downloads, checksums, shutdown, and a supported version matrix
- control-board-only power validation and expected measurements
- six-branch CAN topology and communication acceptance beyond dashboard Motor ID discovery
- actuator firmware and duplicate-ID recovery
- current, torque, velocity, and software command limits
- side-specific joint direction, range, hard-stop, and independent zero verification
- IMU, camera, microphone, speaker, and other I/O tests with objective expected results
- low-energy single-joint and restrained whole-body motion tests
- stop conditions, recovery instructions, recorded values, final acceptance criteria, and commissioning handoff
Manual joint movement and whole-robot electrical measurements also remain unavailable until their exact setup, test points, methods, limits, and acceptance criteria are validated.
