Wiring and Connector Inspection
Inspect visible cable identity, routing, connector condition, and retained assembly records.
Keep every circuit unpowered. Inspect accessible wiring without opening connectors, remaking joins, probing conductors, or moving joints.
Visible Conditions
Record any:
- cut, pinched, exposed, contaminated, overheated, or abraded insulation
- cracked connector housing, damaged latch, loose terminal, or incomplete seating
- missing sleeving, support, strain relief, or retained cable label
- cable routed across a sharp edge, moving interface, cover, or cutout without the documented protection
- cable whose ID, endpoint, conductor mapping, or acceptance record is unavailable
Review the visible branch-entry areas at the left hip pitch, right hip pitch, waist yaw, left shoulder pitch, right shoulder pitch, and neck yaw. These identify the six-branch architecture; they are not electrical test points.
Post-Routing Joins
Record the identity and assembly evidence for every Wago and soldered pass-through join. Verify only visible housing, insulation, retention, routing, and strain-relief condition.
No electrical measurements yet
Do not open or remake joins, connect conductors because they look similar, or probe BATT+, BATT-, CAN_H, or CAN_L. Test points, isolation states, methods, thresholds, and recovery steps for whole-robot continuity, polarity, isolation, and short-circuit verification remain TBC.
