Self-source path
DIY Kit parts arrive with inserts installed. This procedure is only for self-manufactured parts.
Use a controlled heat-insert tool or suitable soldering iron.
- install inserts only at marked locations
- keep each insert straight while pressing it in
- avoid overheating PA12 parts
- stop if surrounding material deforms or discolors
- confirm every insert is fully seated and aligned
- allow the part to cool before test-fitting a fastener
