Electronics and Battery Inspection
Record identity and visible condition without connecting, charging, or powering hardware.
This inspection confirms presence, identity, and physical condition only. It does not verify function or electrical integration.
Electronics
Record the part number, revision, supplier, and serial number where present for:
- the Radxa CM5-based motion-control board
- the Raspberry Pi 5 media and network computer
- the wireless emergency stop and receiver
- the torso IMU
- the head monocular camera
- the head microphone array
- the torso speaker and associated electronics
- Ethernet and supplied device cables
Inspect accessible PCBs, sockets, headers, antennas, connectors, latches, mounting holes, storage devices, heatsinks, and cables for visible damage, contamination, corrosion, deformation, or incomplete seating.
Presence of the emergency-stop hardware or a sensor does not verify its wiring or function.
Battery
Record the pack identity against the available reference values: lithium-ion, 13S4P, nominal 46.8 V, typical 10.5 Ah, and maximum discharge 30 A.
Keep the pack disconnected with its output protected. Inspect the enclosure, lead, connector, terminals, and strain relief for:
- swelling, deformation, puncture, leakage, or corrosion
- discoloration, unusual odor, or signs of heat
- cut, pinched, exposed, loose, or damaged leads and connector parts
Quarantine damaged batteries
Do not charge, connect, probe, repair, or continue handling a battery with visible damage, leakage, unusual odor, or heat. Isolate access to the area and follow the supplier's approved incident and disposal process.
Charger selection, charging, connector polarity, fusing, power distribution, conversion, switching, and emergency-stop function remain outside this procedure.
