Step 18: Install the Forearm Motor

Install motor ID 17 in Part 300_16C and secure it with Part 300_11A.

Instructions

Put the current Sub Assembly E upright such that the hollow shaft of Part is facing the ceiling.

Step 18: Install the Forearm Motor

Take motor EC-A4310-P2-36 (ID 17), align the motor port of the motor to Part port cut out, and slot the motor into the inner hollow of Part .

Step 18: Install the Forearm Motor

Take 6 – M3 square nuts, and slot it in the slot around the circumference of Part .

Step 18: Install the Forearm Motor

Take Part and align it with the edge circumference of Part such that the holes on the motor and the holes on edge of part are all aligned with the holes on Part .

Step 18: Install the Forearm Motor

Take 6 – M3x10 Flat bolts and lightly tighten into the 6 inner circumference holes of part first to align the part with the motor.

Step 18: Install the Forearm Motor

Take 6 – M3x10 Flat bolts and lightly tighten into the 6 outer circumference holes of part to align the part with the square nut in Part .

Step 18: Install the Forearm Motor
After the part is aligned, remove each of the 12 – M3x10 flat bolts, apply threadlocker and then tighten them back to secure Part and Part and the motor together.
