Instructions

Take part and align it with the current Sub Assembly E. You need to make sure that Part protruded edge is aligned with the protruded ledge on Part . This is the stopping mechanism for the elbow of the robot.

Step 16: Install the Elbow Stop
Once that is aligned, we will need to align Part 3 holes with the 3 holes on Part .
Take 1 – M4x10 Flat bolt and lightly tighten it into the hole nearer to the round part of Part to temporarily secure Part to part .

Put the current Sub Assembly E upright such that the hollow shaft of Part is facing the ceiling. We will start putting the M4 square nut in the inner hollow part of Part . This part is tricky and will require a bit of finesse, so do it slowly and steady.

Step 16: Install the Elbow Stop

Take 2 – M4 square nut and aligned it with the holes of the inner hollow shaft of Part . Then, use a piece of masking tape to help secure the square nut in place.

Step 16: Install the Elbow Stop

Take 2 – M4x8 Flat bolt, lightly tighten each of the M4x8 flat bolt so that the parts are secured together with the M4 square nuts.

Step 16: Install the Elbow Stop
After the part is aligned, remove each of the 2 – M4x8 flat bolts, apply threadlocker and then tighten them back to secure Part and Part together with the square nuts.
Do the same for the M4x10 Flat bolt.
After all of them are done, remove the masking tape.
