Verify Factory Preparation
Verify installed inserts, premade wiring, finished parts, and factory-labeled actuator IDs.
Asimov DIY Kit path
This is a verification step. Do not perform normal self-source fabrication, insert installation, harness manufacturing, or actuator-ID programming.
Mechanical Parts and Inserts
For each part:
- confirm the part number and left or right side
- inspect the finish for shipping damage
- inspect for cracks, deformation, blocked holes, or damaged mating surfaces
- confirm every required heat-set insert is present
- confirm inserts are straight, fully seated, and surrounded by undamaged material
- quarantine a part with a missing, loose, tilted, or damaged insert
Insert sizes, quantities, depths, acceptance criteria, and an equivalent textual location map remain TBC. The images below are visual references only and cannot serve as the sole acceptance record.

Premade Wiring
For each normal supplied harness:
- match its identity to the released Kit wire manifest
- confirm quantity, nominal length, and endpoints
- inspect connector housings, terminals, latches, insulation, and strain relief
- quarantine cut, pinched, exposed, loose, contaminated, or heat-damaged wiring
Do not cut, re-terminate, or remake a normal Kit harness. Keep Wago and soldered pass-through wires unjoined for their assembly steps.
TBC: Kit wire manifest
The released Kit wire manifest and exact Wago and soldered exception specifications are TBC.
Numbered Actuators
- confirm all 25 actuators have visible, unique stickers numbered 1 through 25
- match each model and sticker to the current Motor ID allocation
- record the serial number, model, target Motor ID, and intended location
- quarantine missing, duplicate, damaged, or inconsistent stickers
The sticker defines the target Motor ID. Every Kit buyer programs and reads back each actuator during common Software and Motor Setup.
