Step 10: Install Linkage Cranks and Cover

Install the two ankle linkage cranks, align them, and attach the rear cover.

Instructions

Take part and align it with the threaded hole on the motor nearer to the knee on part .

Take 6 – M3x12 Flat bolts and then lightly tighten it into the holes on part to align it with the threaded holes on the motor.

Step 10: Install Linkage Cranks and Cover

Once the parts are aligned, remove each of the M3x12 flat, apply the threadlocker onto them and tighten them back into the holes to secure part to the motor.

Take part and align it with the threaded hole on the motor nearer to the ankle on part .

Take 6 – M3x12 Flat bolts and then lightly tighten it into the holes on part to align it with the threaded holes on the motor.

Step 10: Install Linkage Cranks and Cover

Once the parts are aligned, remove each of the M3x12 sockets, apply the threadlocker onto them and tighten them back into the holes to secure part to the motor.

After part and is secured to the motors. We need to turn the knob such that part (nearer to the knee) is turning to the right and part (nearer to the ankle) is turning to the left. The two knobs should be parallel with each other because they serve as the linkage for the ankle mechanism.

Step 10: Install Linkage Cranks and Cover

Take the current assembly and put it on the surface such that the back side of the knee is facing upward towards the ceiling.

Take Part and align it on the grove around the motor hollows. Take 2 – M3x8 flat bolts and lightly tighten it on the top and bottom holes of part to align with part .

Take 1 – M3x10 flat bolt and lightly tighten into the hole on part to align with part .

Take 1 – M3x16 flat bolt and lightly tighten into the hole on part to align with part .

Once part is aligned with part , tighten all the 4 flat bolts to secure the parts together.
