Tools, hardware, and part preparation required before assembly
This section covers the mechanical preparation work that is recommended before full assembly begins.
1. Making Inserts (Optional but recommanded)
You can install all required heat-set inserts before starting the main assembly flow, or follow the insert steps later in the assembly steps for each module.
Use a soldering iron or a suitable heat-insert tool, and complete the insert locations shown below if you want to prepare them in advance before module assembly.
- install inserts only at the marked locations
- keep the insert straight while pressing it in
- avoid overheating the printed part
- confirm each insert is fully seated before moving on
